You can see on the right side of the power query editor all the steps line by line appearing in the Power Query editor. Each step like merging columns, deleting an extra column or row, any new calculations, etc. Power Query helps us in doing the steps only once and it is reusable with just one refresh click for any source data. You can also Merge two or more files together and can also Append it after importing using the Combine Queries as shown in the above picture.
